Radiation Oncology Practice Accreditation

The American College of Radiology (ACR) Radiation Oncology Practice Accreditation (ROPA) program provides radiation oncologists with evaluation of patient care as well as third-party, impartial peer review of the facility’s personnel, equipment, treatment planning, treatment records, patient safety policies, and quality control / quality assessment activities. Recommendations for improvement are based on nationally recognized standards, including ACR practice parameters, ACR and American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) technical standards, and AAPM Task Group reports.
