Q: Tell us a bit about yourself and why you chose oncology care?
I grew up in Stilwell, Kansas, and am a Midwesterner through and through. We have lived in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa and are looking forward to moving to Columbia. I decided to specialize in oncology because it is an evolving field, and there is a unique relationship with patients and families.
Q: What is your favorite hobby?
Rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
Q: What’s your most memorable moment?
The day I married my wife, Ann.
Q: Being new to Columbia and MCA, what’s on your to-do list for this year?
I am looking forward to starting at MCA and getting to know my patients and the community. My wife and I are excited to explore a new city, and if you have any favorite restaurants, I would love to add them to our list to try.
